As well as general stability updates, the patch includes the following:
- Optimized goalkeeper rushing, AI, and positioning.
- Improved player wage accuracy in Career Mode.
- Addressed referee/kit clashes.
- Addressed an exploit in Virtual Pro leaderboards.
- Addressed a shot missing the top corner and still being called a goal.
- FIFA Trainer button tuning.
- Player clipping during intro sequence in certain stadiums.
There are also some FUT issues addressed:
- EA SPORTS Football Club shared squads not showing players in FIFA 16 menus.
- Relisting Transfer List items not retaining previous price settings.
- Error message when attempting to apply a contract consumable.
- Away crowd wearing incorrect kit.
- Some returning users experiencing an issue when naming their club.
- Controller disconnecting in FUT modes.
The Xbox One patch is due any minute now, with both the Xbox One store and FUT in general being down last night for maintenance.
Details of the patch also come with the news that EA are changing the way maintenance is handled, from now on, when maintenance is due, EA will close FUT matchmaking 30 minutes before the maintenance is due to start, this will prevent any matches from starting that wouldn't have enough time to finish before maintenance starts and should significantly reduce the number of matches disconnected by maintenance. Hopefully it's accompanied by some in game messaging that explains why matchmaking is disabled, otherwise there will be waves of people complaining that FUT is broken when it's actually scheduled.
